Spitfire Race Car for sale

 This all metal ex McCarthy car was last raced in ‘79, stored indoors ever since. Car needs some work. I have two race engines, 4 more engines in pieces including 1-1500 & 1-1300 (I think), 4 transmissions (2 are close ratio), McCarthy Axles, Lots of spare parts including a spare frame. McCarthy last raced it at the National runoffs, then I got it. I made lots of improvements for reliability, etc. I’ve hung onto it since my divorce hoping to get back on the track, but I see it will never happen now, so I need to find a new home for my baby. I no longer have a trailer for it, but could probably borrow one to get the car to your place if reasonably close. I’m asking $ 5,000 OBO for it. The car is stored in Santa Clara.
